Caitlin Clark, the star point guard for the Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball team, is dating Connor McCaffery, the son of Iowa Hawkeyes men's basketball coach Fran McCaffery. The couple has been dating since April 2023 but didn't make their relationship public until four months later.
McCaffery is a 6-foot-5 guard who played for the Hawkeyes from 2017 to 2022. He started 112 games in his career and averaged 9.1 points per game. McCaffery is now a graduate assistant for the Hawkeyes men's basketball team.
Clark is one of the most decorated women's basketball players in the country. She was named the Big Ten Player of the Year in 2021 and 2022 and was a consensus All-American in both seasons. Clark is also a member of the U.S. women's national basketball team.
The couple has been spotted together at several Iowa Hawkeyes basketball games and other public events. They have also posted photos of each other on social media.
